Products of DANIAMANT
Daniamant in Denmark was founded in 1975, importing diamond tools for the building industry. It was 10 years later in 1985 that Daniamant first developed an IMO approved Lifejacket Light. In the same year Daniamant developed an approved Liferaft Lighting system. The business developed rapidly and when in 1991, IMO regulations were tightened to make lifejacket lights compulsory in vessels undertaking long voyages, Daniamant was in an ideal position to respond. The business developed steadily during the 1990’s and in 1998 was further boosted when IMO legislated for lifejacket lights on all SOLAS vessels, including ferries.
In 2005, Arne Gillin, together with Dansk Generationsskifte Kapital bought into the Company, starting a new wave of expansion. In 2006 Daniamant acquired the Survivor Location Lights division from McMurdo Ltd in the UK and in 2007 Daniamant acquired the Lifebuoy Lights business from Comet GmbH. In 2010, NTR Holding A/S of Denmark acquired Daniamant Holdings A/S with the intention to continue to strengthen Daniamant’s position in the world market through organic growth and through acquisitions.

IDEAL FOR SAFETY OF YOUR VESSEL
Odeo stands for Omni Directional Electrical Optical signal and is an innovative alternative and enhancement to traditional hand flares.
Traditional flares will illuminate for around 30 seconds before extinguishing: the Odeo Flare™ illuminates for around 6 hours at full illumination. Because no pyrotechnics are used, the Odeo Flare™ is totally safe when switched off, and because it uses battery power (high power Lithium or Alkaline cells), it can even be safely posted or carried in baggage on flights.
Whilst originally designed for marine use, its lightweight, safe performance means that it is incredibly useful for any outdoor activity. Mountaineering, skiing, expeditions etc. – any activity can benefit from the added safety and security of carrying a distress flare – without the unwanted dangers.-

FLS Platinum Engine FORWARD LOOKING SONAR
EchoPilot’s Platinum Engine is a “Black Box” system which enables any Chartplotter, Multifunction Display, or PC with a video input to become a fully functional 2D color Forward Looking Sonar (FLS). FLS provides the skipper entering strange harbors or difficult anchorages the extra safety of the seabed view and underwater obstructions ahead. Piloting unfamiliar or poorly charted waters, especially at night, becomes less stressful.
EchoPilot’s patented Realtime FLS uses an electronically controlled array to scan the seabed from straight ahead through 90° to straight down, like an underwater radar; the whole screen updates continuously. If the boat turn towards an obstruction or bank this will appear almost immediately on the screen, and will disappear as quickly when the boat turns towards safer waters, unlike steered transmit phased array system offered by some other manufacturers which may take a considerable time to update a full 90° sector.--
download catalogueFLS 2D 2D FORWARD LOOKING SONAR
The EchoPilot 2D offers all the best features of the EchoPilot forward looking sonar displayed on a full color, 7 inch TFT LCD display. The benefits of color, apart from just being visually more pleasing, include being able to gain much more information about the nature of the seabed. Stronger echos produce colors at the red end of the spectrum where as weaker echos are at the blue end of the spectrum. This gives the user more information about the nature of the seabed. Stronger echos will result from a hard seabed such as rock. Weak echos will be received from softer materials such as sand or mud. Different fields or types of information are shown in contrasting colors, enabling the navigator to assimilate information much faster.
Simple digital sounders show historical data, they may show a depth which is 10 to 15 seconds out of date. If moving at speed this depth could easily be hundreds of meters behind you. The digital depth on the EchoPilot 2D is an average of the first one third of the screen ahead, updated twice every second for true real time information. If you are moving this gives you a far more accurate representation of what is actually beneath your boat right now.--
download catalogueFLS 3D 3D FORWARD LOOKING SONAR
The 3D Forward Looking Sonar is one of the best proven Forward Looking Sonars. The FLS 3D displays a 3-dimensional representation of the underwater scene ahead of the boat. The seabed terrain and potential hazards are shown, for the first time, with unparalleled realism. The FLS 3D comes with twin retractable transducers to ensure complete forward coverage whatever the hull form. The view ahead is 60 degrees in the horizontal plane and over 90 degrees in the vertical plane. The forward range is up to 200 m and 100 meters depth.
The importance of Forward Looking Sonar Technology is the depth to range ratio. The FLS 3D Forward Looking Sonar has a staggering 20 x depth ratio! This means that you will see 100 meters ahead with only 5 meters of water underneath your boat. This is the highest ratio in Forward Looking Sonar Technology!.--
download catalogueDaniamant OIL LEVEL ALARM FOR BOILER SYSTEMS
OLA400 OIL LEVEL ALARM FOR BOILER SYSTEMS
Function
The Oil Level Alarm OLA400 can, when installed in a boiler system‘s hot well, detects the occurrence of potentially critical oil. If oil is detected a visual alarm indication will be shown on the control box and further relays are available to output the alarm to any central alarm system.
Typical Use
The most critical water contamination in a ship‘s boiler system is oil entering the steam or condensate from leaking tank coils or heat exchangers. The boiler could be completely destroyed due to overheating of the furnace.
The hot well can easily be equipped with OLA400 which will continually detect oil occurrence. This can ensure that oil can be detected before it enters the feedwater section.--

DanEI-300 ELECTRONIC INCLINOMETER
The DanEI-300 Electronic Inclinometer is an advanced heel and pitch measuring device which is not sensitive to horizontal and vertical accelerations. This will provide information to a better understanding of the ship‘s movement and steering behavior, supervision of trim, cargo status and stability status.
On rolling vessels the usual bubble or pendulum inclinometers indicate values which are too high. This margin error can be up to 30% of the measured value. As the DanEI-300 will not be affected by these accelerations it shows the true inclination and roll period. Furthermore, the DanEI-300 can contribute to reduction of fuel consumption and improvement of safety.--
