W3 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM AUTOMATIC

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.

This new, low profile light is a single compact flashing unit. The light is emitted through a ultra low profile dome, making the light less susceptible to damage during evacuation. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap and one to go over a 5cm belt. This is the automatic version of Dan M3. The light activates automatically when in water and can be turned off manually if required.-

WR3 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM AUTOMATIC

This light has a special fitting clip design for attachment to a lifejacket so that only the ultra-low profile dome is above the fabric on the jacket. The light is specially designed for lifejackets used on passenger vessels with excavation or chute systems for mass evacuation of passengers.-

The DAN W2 is the automatic version of the DAN M2. The light activates automatically when in water. The light has the same attachment arrangement as DAN M2.-

WR2 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM AUTOMATIC

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.

The DAN WR2 is the automatic recessed version of the DAN W2. With a special fitting arrangement the light is completely embedded in a lifejacket with only the dome visable above the fabric. The light is specially designed for lifejackets used on passenger vessels with excavation or chute systems for mass evacuation of passengers.-

L7A2 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM AUTOMATIC

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations.

The L7A2 light slides into the recessed housing unit which is permanently mounted in the life jacket, leaving only the small dome and light visible. The light is safe from any damage when the jacket is used in a safety drill and during any evacuation. The light is easily replaced after 5 years.-

L6A LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM AUTOMATIC

All Daniamant Lifejacket lights are designed to deliver, as a minimum standard, the 0.75cd output specification and 8 hour duration required by IMO SOLAS regulations. The L6A is a one-piece, automatically activated light supplied with a mounting clip.

The light flashes between 50-70 times per minute and exceeds 0.75 candela light output. With a similar build standard to the L6 it meets IMO SOLAS requirements. Housed in a waterproof, corrosion and temperature resistant case it has an operating life exceeding 8 hours and a unique integrated water sensor switch to turn the light off.

The L6A is easy to install on most types of lifejackets saving on labour costs. Its small size makes it easy for stowage of lifejackets and it is easily fitted with the unique fitting clip supplied.-

M3 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM MANUAL

The light is a single compact flashing unit. It is manually activated by rotation of the light glass. Easily fitted with two different backing plates, one to go over a thin strap and one to go over a 5cm belt, the sleeves on the bottom of the lights allow straps to go through for retro-fitting on jackets not prepared for light attachment.-

This lightweight, compact and robust flashing lifejacket light meets the latest stringent requirements. The L6 is a one piece, manually activated light supplied with a mounting clip. It features an intense incandescent light visible for up to 2 miles in clear conditions with an operating life exceeding 8 hours. Waterproof, corrosion and temperature resistant case with a simple pull ring operation even with gloved hands or in adverse conditions. Easy fixing with the fixing clip supplied.-

LJ2 LIFEJACKET LIGHTS LITHIUM MANUAL

The powerful, rugged LJ2 provides a minimum white light output exceeding 0.75 candela in all directions of the upper hemisphere without a lens. This lithium powered unit has a press to test facility, full operation breaks the seal providing a positive indication that the unit has been used. The battery unit is completely sealed, offering a 5-year storage life with a polarised plug and locking ring for simple in-service replacement.-

L163 LIFEBUOY LIGHTS LITHIUM

The Daniamant L163 is the only USCG approved intrinsic safe lifebuoy light with UL913 approval for installation in Class 1 hazardous locations, Groups A, B, C & D, ANSI/UL1196 in the world.

L16x Adapter Plate

To ensure that previous models of our lights can be replaced with more ease we have designed a mounting/adapter plate.

With our new mounting plate there is no need to drill new holes or change fittings. Our new mounting plate allows the use of the existing fixings from your L90, L120, L41B or L40 lifebuoy light. Simply remove the old mounting bracket and use the same fixings to affix the mounting plate, then, with the stainless steel screws provided, affix the new L16x lifebuoy light – simple!-

L170 LIFEBUOY LIGHTS LITHIUM

The L170 is available in two versions. We offer a commercial version and a version with a unique bracket, specially designed for mounting with leisure Lifebuoys. Both versions are fully SOLAS approved and differ only in the bracket supplied. Both brackets are designed for easy fitment.-

L170 Commercial Adapter Plate

To ensure that previous models of our lights can be replaced with more ease we have designed a mounting/adapter plate for the L170 Commercial.

This new Adapter Plate is designed to help when upgrading from the existing L160 Lifebuoy Light. The new Adapter Plate is designed to be mounted onto the existing L16x Adapter plate. So, with this new mounting plate there is no need to drill new holes or change fittings if you previously had used the L16x Adaper Plate. Simply remove the old L160 mounting bracket and use the same fixings to affix the mounting plate, then, with the stainless steel screws provided, affix the new L170 Commercial lifebuoy light – simple!.-

Rescue Master 1 – 2B – 3B LIFERAFT LIGHTS

External Light type Rescue-Master Lite GB - A manually activated External Position Indicating Light for Liferafts. The mounting method varies according to the style of Liferaft involved. The light is activated by removing the activation pin. The light can also be turned off by reinserting the same pin, or the spare pin attached to the battery.

External light type Rescue-Master 2B : The light has two parts, a battery and lamp, which can be supplied separately. The lead length on the lamp is custom made. The light flashes to reduce battery power and heat from the lamp. The lamp exceeds light intensity requirements of 4.3cd for 12 hours. The battery is automatically activated when the activation pin is pulled out of the battery during inflation of a life raft.

External light type Rescue-Master 3B : The light is identical to Rescue-Master 2B, but has a larger battery housing.

Internal light type Rescue-Master 1 : The light has two parts, a battery and lamp, which can be supplied separately. The lead length on the lamp is custom made. The light is steady and sufficient for at least 12 hours with a minimum light output of 0.5cd in all directions. The battery can be automatically activated by pulling the activation pin out of the battery during inflation of the life raft.-

R.EXT1 LIFERAFT LIGHT EXTERNAL

External light for survival crafts. At half the size of the previous model this is slim in design and very cost effective. The product is in two parts (battery and lamp) and provides more than 4.3cd in all directions for a minimum of 12 hours. There is an option for a specially-designed backing plate, which makes it easy to change batteries after five years shelf life. This backing plate can also be used for Internal light type Rescue Dan R.INT2.-

R.INT2 LIFERAFT LIGHT INTERNAL

This is a single unit light small in design complete with battery and lamp. The light is steady for over 12 hours and produces 0.5cd as per the requirements of MSC226(82). The light is activated automatically during inflation of the liferaft and replaces the previously popular R.INT1 light.-

RB2 – RL4 – RL1 LIFERAFT LIGHTS

The well established RL/RB system continues to be available. It comprises of the RB2 battery pack, which is fitted to the RL1 internal light, or the RL4 external light (requires 2 x RB2 batteries). The battery is connected to the lead by a polarised sealed plug. This is fixed in placed by a screwed locking ring, which enables easy service and replacement.

The external light is designed to produce a minimum of 4.3cd in all directions for 12 hours. The internal light is designed to produce a minimum of 0.5cd in all directions for 12 hours. The system has a maximum shelf life of five years from date of manufacture.-

R.EXT LIFERAFT LIGHT EXTERNAL

The Rescue Dan R.EXT continues to be available as a replacement battery.

R.EXT has been superseded by the R.EXT1 External light for survival crafts. At half the size of the previous R.EXT model. The product is in two parts (battery and lamp) and provides more than 4.3cd in all directions for a minimum of 12 hours. There is an option for a specially-designed backing plate, which makes it easy to change batteries after five years shelf life. This backing plate can also be used for Internal light type Rescue Dan R.INT2.-

RL5 LIFERAFT LIGHTS INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL

The RL5 is designed to be a compact, cost effective, reliable combined internal and external light for liferafts. It has features to make fixing to the raft easy, and includes a single point of activation for both internal and external lights. Once activated, the internal and external lights are individually controllable.

The external light is designed to produce a minimum of 4.3cd in all directions for 12 hours. The internal light is designed to produce a minimum of 0.5cd in all directions for 12 hours. The battery pack has a maximum shelf life of five years from date of manufacture.-

Daniamant is proud to introduce the ODEO Distress Flare as the next generation of Electronic Visual Distress Signal Device (eVDSD). As the world starts to embrace LED technology as an alternative to traditional pyrotechnic flares Daniamant have built on the ground breaking ODEO Flare design and improved the product once more. New standards and regulations are still being discussed at the USCG and RTCM; these will result in an alternative standard to replace pyrotechnics. Whilst this work proceeds in the background, Daniamant thought that our Customers should be able to take advantage of technology advances in the interim.

SL-500 LIFEBOAT LIGHT INTERNAL

Daniamant is proud to present a new internal lifeboat light to accompany the existing SL-400 external lifeboat light. The addition of the SL-500 internal lifeboat light will assist in Customers moving towards a higher quality, longer lasting and more robust technology than the older existing product ranges. The SL-500 is a high quality internal Lifeboat Light designed to build on the very successful SL-400 introduced last year. It is designed to be fitted on motorised survival craft and to be connected to the craft‘s 12v electrical system.

The SL-500 Lifeboat Light uses the latest advances in LED technology. It features very low current consumption and enhanced reliability. The product comes with a standard 3 metres length of cable which can be cut down to suit the craft‘s requirement. Longer lengths may be available on request. With the SL-400 and SL-500 you have a full solution for any survival craft.-

Rescue Master 12V LIFEBOAT LIGHT EXTERNAL

External light type Rescue-Master 12V

This light is intended for motorised survival craft and to be connected to the crafts 12V electrical system. The lamp is polarized, so when connected correctly, the lamp will flash. Incorrect connection will result in a steady light. The bulb can be replaced by unscrewing the four cap screws. Only original Daniamant parts can be used to replace the bulb and this should be replaced after 12 hours of use.-

FLS 2D 2D FORWARD LOOKING SONAR

The EchoPilot 2D offers all the best features of the EchoPilot forward looking sonar displayed on a full color, 7 inch TFT LCD display. The benefits of color, apart from just being visually more pleasing, include being able to gain much more information about the nature of the seabed. Stronger echos produce colors at the red end of the spectrum where as weaker echos are at the blue end of the spectrum. This gives the user more information about the nature of the seabed. Stronger echos will result from a hard seabed such as rock. Weak echos will be received from softer materials such as sand or mud. Different fields or types of information are shown in contrasting colors, enabling the navigator to assimilate information much faster.

Simple digital sounders show historical data, they may show a depth which is 10 to 15 seconds out of date. If moving at speed this depth could easily be hundreds of meters behind you. The digital depth on the EchoPilot 2D is an average of the first one third of the screen ahead, updated twice every second for true real time information. If you are moving this gives you a far more accurate representation of what is actually beneath your boat right now.--

FLS 3D 3D FORWARD LOOKING SONAR

The 3D Forward Looking Sonar is one of the best proven Forward Looking Sonars. The FLS 3D displays a 3-dimensional representation of the underwater scene ahead of the boat. The seabed terrain and potential hazards are shown, for the first time, with unparalleled realism. The FLS 3D comes with twin retractable transducers to ensure complete forward coverage whatever the hull form. The view ahead is 60 degrees in the horizontal plane and over 90 degrees in the vertical plane. The forward range is up to 200 m and 100 meters depth.

The importance of Forward Looking Sonar Technology is the depth to range ratio. The FLS 3D Forward Looking Sonar has a staggering 20 x depth ratio! This means that you will see 100 meters ahead with only 5 meters of water underneath your boat. This is the highest ratio in Forward Looking Sonar Technology!.--
